Word Tiles is an independent word puzzle game at wordtiles.org. It combines written clues with letter pieces that fit together on a crossword board.

271 levels to work through

Choose Normal (50 levels), Hard (105), or Ultra (116). Normal uses fixed pieces; Hard and Ultra add rotation and larger crosswords. Levels are numbered rather than tied to a date, so you can progress at your own pace.

Original puzzle content

This collection combines common words into new word groups with newly written clues, generated boards and tile shapes. Some common words were collected from public Tiled Words pages; their clues and puzzle layouts were not imported. Every puzzle has a checked reference solution. We do not promise that each puzzle has only one possible tile arrangement.

Play without an account

The game runs in your browser. Current boards and completed levels are saved on your device, without an account. Saves do not automatically transfer between browsers or devices.

Word Tiles is not affiliated with Tiled Words, Meowdoku or their creators. The puzzles here are not copied from their player-submitted or daily puzzle collections.
